The Rhinelander community is invited to celebrate the first anniversary of the opening of the Hodag Dome from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12. This will be a free event, Dome membership is not required. One half of the turf will be open for free play (bring a ball, frisbee, etc.) and the other half will be devoted to a variety of games and face painting. The 128,000 square foot air-supported dome, the crown jewel of the School District of Rhinelander's new $8.2 million sports complex, officially opened on Feb. 1, 2021.
