Rob was born on Aug. 13, 1960, to Shirley Kernin, in Rhinelander.
Shortly after graduation, he joined the United States Navy in 1982 as a cook (MSSR) and was honorably discharged in 1988.
After returning to Rhinelander, Rob became a mason by trade and for many years owned his own company - Tushoski Construction. His masonry work can be seen throughout the Northwoods and surrounding areas.
Rob was a kind, gentle man who always joked around with people he liked. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, hanging out with his family and friends and shooting pool with his wife and Sunday Funday teammates.
He is survived by his wife Lori (Acklam/Vance) Tushoski, his daughter Sydney (TJ) DeNomie, his grandson Oliver Roser, his sisters Vonney (Robert) Pospychala and Cindy (Phil) Shultz, his brothers Thomas (Chris) Tushoski and Jeff (Kerry) Tushoski, his mother-in-law Sheryl Cassity, his brothers-in-law Brian (Caroline) Acklam, John (Peggy) Acklam, Daniel (Cressy) Cassity, his sister-in-law Kim Acklam, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother Shirley Kernin, stepfather Al Kernin, his sister Pamela Keao, and his father-in-law Robert Cassity.
Special thanks to his caregivers Shirley, Jolene and Linda for taking care of Rob as great as you did.
