Geraldine married Raymond Scovern on Sept. 24, 1955, in Milwaukee, and they lived there as well as Fond du Lac. She moved to Rhinelander in December of 2020 and has lived here since.
Geraldine was accomplished at playing the accordion and also gave lessons. She enjoyed arts and crafts, especially rosemaling. She loved being with other people and traveling. She was fortunate to have traveled to all corners of the globe. Above all else, Geraldine treasured her family and the time she got to spend with them.
Geraldine is survived by her three daughters: Raye Lynn (Martin) Hazan, Jan Hoffman, and Mera Lee Scovern, her son Lee (Margaret) Scovern, her five grandchildren Max (Reza) Hazan, Ryan O'Toole, Kyle Rodriguez, Sadie Scovern, and Macie Scovern and her brothers-in-law Michael (Darlene) Piasecki and Gene (Lynn) Piasecki. She was preceded in death by her mother Gertrude M. Steiner and her husband Raymond.
