Ronald "Cliffy" Vanderpoel
He attended schools in Kenosha, graduating from Tremper High School. After his schooling he was employed by the MacWhyte Electrical Company in Kenosha. He moved to Rhinelander in the 1970s and was employed in maintenance for the St. Mary's Hospital and then on the grounds crew for the Northwoods Golf Course. He married Georgia Kubesh on Oct. 13, 2007, in Rhinelander and they were blessed with 15 years of marriage. In his spare time he loved to fish, golf, take care of the flowers in his garden and spend time with his many pets.
He is survived by his wife Georgia, his daughter Brooke (Timothy) Hutchison, his grandchildren Dylan, Comet, Dante and Drake, his sister Sandy (Brian) Schrimpf, his brother Ken (Laura) Vanderpoel, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation for Cliffy will be held on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022, from 9 to 11 a.m., with prayers just prior to 11 a.m., all at the Carlson Funeral Home.
