A group of swimmers heads toward land during the first leg of the 10th annual W.I.L.D. Hodag Mini-Triathlon held, Saturday, Aug. 27 at Holiday Acres Resort. According to online results, 68 individuals and three relay teams took part in the event that included a 300-yard swim (or half-mile kayak), a 10-kilometer bike ride and a 5-kilometer run. Proceeds from the event support Wise International Leadership Development (WILD), a group that fosters youth leadership skills, both locally and internationally.
