Paul attended schools in the Racine area and graduated from St. Catherine's High School in 1955. He joined the Navy in 1957 and was honorably discharged in 1960. After his honorable discharge from the Navy, Paul and his wife Marilyn lived in Racine from 1960 to 1970. In 1970 Paul moved to Rhinelander and opened Pierre's Beauty Boutique where he worked up until his retirement.
Paul enjoyed spending time with his friends, which included many hours at Northland Printing. He enjoyed watching sports especially the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Cubs. His biggest enjoyment was fishing and he spent five months of every year in Canada. He would make lures and tackle all year long and sell them on his way up to Canada to pay for bait and gas.
Paul is survived by his son James (Dawn) Peltier of Kenosha, grandson Justin of North Dakota, sisters Germaine Lamb of Kenosha, and Mary (Mike) Maloney of Illinois, brothers Pierre Peltier of Vermont, and David Peltier of Kenosha, other family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn, parents, son Robert Peltier, sister Nanette Peltier (sister Jean Anne).
There will be no services at this time for Paul. A small family service for Paul will take place in Kenosha at a later date. You may leave your private condolences for the Peltier family at www.carlsonfh.com.
