Prior to his passing he was residing in Rhinelander. He came to Rhinelander at 16 years old and worked for Dietz Construction for many years. Then he started his own very successful construction business that he ran for many years after. He even won the golden head hammer award for building his first home. In his early days, Jack was an avid hunter and fisherman. He displayed many of his trophies from those trips in his home. Jack loved his dogs and had many over the course of his life. His dog Shadow was his right hand man.
Later in Jack's life, he enjoyed spending time with his family. Jack was a great storyteller. He would share his life adventures and experiences with his family often. Jack brought great joy to those in his life. He will be greatly missed by all. His family and friends are missing him already but are thankful for the time they had with him and hope he is at peace.
Preceded in death by his parents Lillian, Francis and brother Thomas.
Survivors include his daughter Brenda and his two other children. His many grandchildren who thought the world of him. As well as his dear friend Jim and his special friend Tammy.
A funeral service will not be held for Jack at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated and may be made to the Oneida County Humane Society in honor of Jack.
