Judy lived in Louisville, Kentucky for a period of time and then moved to Rhinelander in the mid to late '70s where she has lived since. After moving to Rhinelander she enrolled in Nicolet College in their nursing program. She received her BS in Nursing and went to work for the St. Mary's Hospital in Rhinelander. She was with the hospital for over 20 years before her retirement. Judy was a kind soul who was blessed with a great sense of humor, both of which served her well in her chosen profession.
Outside of her work Judy enjoyed all kinds of music. She loved her pets, especially her little kittens, and she was an avid bird watcher. She was able to identify most any bird that made the Northwoods their home.
Judy is survived by her daughter Rachael McQueen.
Visitation for Judy is tentatively set for Friday, Nov. 5, 2021 from 10 to 11 a.m., with memorial services following at 11 a.m., all at the Carlson Funeral Home. You may leave your private condolences for Judy's family at www.carlsonfh.com.
