She was employed as a nurse's aide for over 30 years giving care with love and compassion.
Renie's biggest passion was cooking Indonesian food for family and friends. Her home was always a gathering place where everybody was welcome and would leave, after an awesome meal, with fond memories of her generous hospitality.
She enjoyed the outdoors with her chickens and working in her flower garden.
Renie is survived by her children, John Mutter (Renee), Joan Mutter (Dannie), Kurt Mutter (Valorie), Adolf Mutter (Cindy), Tony Mutter, Glen Mutter (Jolene Petri), Bill Mutter, Rene Justice (Jon), Raymond Mutter (Melissa), Ann Manney (Dean), Mike Mutter (Leeann); 21 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
On Oct. 23, 2021 at 10 a.m., a prayer service will be held at Nativity of Our Lord Cemetery-St. Joseph's site in Rhinelander. A Celebration of Life will follow with a luncheon at the Pine Lake Town Hall in Rhinelander. Friends and family are welcome. We will follow Covid protocol and ask that you wear your mask while indoors at the event. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral and Cremation Services in Eau Claire is assisting the family.
