Workers constructing the 13-unit Settlers Village Apartments at the corner of North Oneida Avenue and Timber Drive in Rhinelander were busy last week pouring the concrete slab before the weather turns colder. According to city building inspector Robbie Davister, the units are scheduled to be available for renting by March of 2022. According to the recently completed housing needs assessment, the city will need between 30 and 101 additional rental units by the year 2030 and between 26-129 owner-occupied units to meet the projected housing demand.
