Wausau man charged with child sexual assault in Oneida County
Troy Fue Yang made his initial appearance Oct. 25 before circuit judge Michael Bloom on the Class C felony.
According to the criminal complaint, a 14-year-old child reported traveling from Wausau to Rhinelander with Yang and another teen to attend a party at a house in Crescent where they ended up spending the night.
The reporting party told the detective that at some point during the night, they awoke to Yang inappropriately touching them through their clothing.
At the initial appearance, Bloom set a $500 cash bond with conditions that Yang not have contact with the victim.
A preliminary hearing in this case is scheduled for Dec. 2.
If convicted, Yang faces up to 40 years in prison.
