Nicolet College to celebrate Veterans Day with traveling Wisconsin Veterans Museum exhibit
"I can't tell you how exciting it was to hear the news that the exhibit would be coming to Nicolet," Casey Lehmann, Nicolet Financial Aid advisor and advisor to the college's Student Veteran's Club, said in a press release announcing the exhibit's visit to Rhinelander.
Lehmann was in the Army National Guard, having joined in 1998. She served in Iraq in 2003 and 2004.
The exhibit, WWI Beyond the Trenches: Stories from the Trenches, is provided courtesy of the Wisconsin Veterans Museum and funded in part by the Wisconsin Humanities Council with additional funds from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
