He is survived by this wife, Pamela Haskins, with whom he shared a love of camping. The two could often be found tucked away in their fifth wheel in the Nicolet National Forest. They had four beloved dogs, Sadie, Buster, Ginger and Tucker - who was born in Scott's lap. Scott is also survived by his daughters, Sheena Haskins (Rob Dixon) and Kelly (Tyler) Schulze, as well as his stepchildren, Amanda Borcovan (Josh Norton) and Shawn Borcovan (Kayla Johnson).
He was a proud grandpa to Dimitri, Cameron, and Anja, who he had to meet. Scott is also survived by his stepmother, Grace Haskins, siblings Mary (Michael) Wilkins, Linda (Timothy) Davidson, Cynthia (Robert) Birnberg, Constance (Albert) Simpson and Keith (Deanna) Haskins and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by many friends, coworkers and patrons of his business and passion over the past six years, The Elcho Service Center.
Scott had a lifelong passion for waterskiing and for many decades he could be found skiing or boating on Lake Thompson in his Ski Brendella that he took the utmost pride in. Scott was the guy that everyone turned to for advice, on everything from cars to construction to financial advice. His wisdom is a terrible loss to all of us.
Please join us in celebrating his life on Saturday, May 22, 2021, for a visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Carlson Funeral Home, Rhinelander, WI.
