Julie Anne Hatleback-Wolfe, age 58, of Harshaw, died on Feb. 27, 2021 at the Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff. She was born on May 18, 1962, in Rhinelander, the daughter of Richard and Lucille "Sally" (Morgan) Hatleback.
Julie attended schools in Rhinelander and graduated from the Rhinelander High School in 1980. While raising her four children, Julie was employed as a corrections officer for the Marathon County Jail. She held that position until being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and some other health concerns that forced her retirement. She then spent her time crafting, decorating, visiting friends over coffee, and her true joy in life, caring for her children.
Christmas was Julie's favorite time of year. The lights, the family gathering, and the story of her Savior's birth. She worshipped God as a member of the Faith Lutheran Church for many years.
Julie's health became a real struggle for her this past year. With her most recent battle, she thought she had found the answer to the pain and then tested positive for Covid. She passed without suffering and will be welcomed into God's arms and reunited with those she loved, especially her mother Sally.
Julie is survived by her daughters Kendra Hatleback and Ashley Price, her sons Joshua (Alysia) Dillenberg and Keegan Hatleback, her grandchildren Zoe and Rayna Dillenberg and Ridley and Pyper Price, her brothers Craig Hatleback and Jay (Bridget) Hatleback, her stepfather David Somers, her close friend and companion Michael Ryden, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dennis Wolfe, her brother Bryan Hatleback and her stepfather Marino DiGiacomo.
Visitation for Julie will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church in Harshaw, Wisconsin. Masks will be required and social distancing will be observed. Due to the Pandemic, private family services will be held at a later time. You may leave your private condolences for the Hatleback-Wolfe family at www.carlsonfh.com.
