Ripco Credit Union supports Rhinelander's Fourth of July Parade
"We are so happy to showcase our talented RHS musicians this year, and we know they will represent our community well," said Diane Sowinski, Ripco's Vice President of Marketing and Business Development.
The 2021 parade will be held on Sunday, July 4 at 11 a.m. Parade applications are still available at the Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce office at 450 West Kemp Street. Additional entries are welcome, and businesses, organizations, neighborhoods and even family groups are encouraged to join in the fun. After the absence of a parade in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, organizers are hoping to make this year's parade one of the best ever. The parade route will start at the police station on Frederick Street, travel south down Brown Street, then north on Courtney Street to Davenport Street.
The theme for this year's parade is "Remember: United We Stand."
In addition to the Rhinelander High School Band, other units of interest include the Seymour High School Band, the Northwoods Marching Band and the Zor Funsters.
For questions about the parade, call Schlieve at 715-369-1814 or email him at [email protected]. Donations toward the parade or the fireworks can be directed to Dale Schlieve, 312 Conro Street, Rhinelander, WI 54501. Please make checks payable to Downtown Rhinelander Inc. or the Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce.
The Rhinelander Lions Kiddie Parade start will be at 10 a.m. on July 4, with lineup at 9:30 a.m. by Zion Church/School on Frederick Street.
For more information about the Kiddie Parade, call Tim Gengler at 715-490-2470.
