She was preceded in death by her parents Roy M. and Janet C. Sternard (Slater) and brother Roy Lee Sternard. Sharon is survived by her loving daughter Ann Smith (Pat), sons Dan (Jim), Mike (Molly), and Joe, six grandchildren, Sarah, Laura, Matthew, Emily, Mary Claire, and Jacob, as well as her granddogs Cooper, Cody, Lucky, Penny, Charlotte, and Reggie. Sharon will always be remembered for being a wonderful mom, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. Her warm smile and loving manner always made everyone feel welcome and special. Sharon was born in Green Bay, home of her favorite team the Packers. She was a lifelong fan and loved to cheer them on shouting "Go Pack Go, Go Pack Go, Go Pack Go" which could be heard near and far. Sharon graduated in 1948 from West High in Green Bay. Sharon was an avid reader, and enjoyed watching movies, going to the theater, and spending time with her family and friends. Sharon also loved her sweets, especially chocolate or anything she called "ooey-gooey".
Sharon will be dearly missed, but we will carry her forever in our hearts.
The family is eternally grateful to the staff of Rennes and Compassus Hospice for making Sharon's last journey so comfortable and serene.
