Rhinelander VFW raising funds to support veterans
The VFW performs 21-gun salute honor services at area cemeteries for all veterans of all services regardless of when or where they served. They also grant scholarships to Rhinelander High School graduates and help veterans who are facing homelessness or loss of a job.
"These services come with expenses and since COVID our fund raising ability has been severely hampered," explained Mike Perry, Commander of VFW Post 3143.
The concession stand will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday until September.
