Grinde and Idalski competed in the Women's 4.0 skill level 50-plus, 60-plus division and beat out nine other teams in their division. The pair lost to Sallie Smithley and Nancy Gilles in straight sets in the semifinals, but made it through the consolation bracket to defeat Smithley and Gilles in the championship match, 11-3, 10-12, 12-10, 15-6.
he event drew roughly 500 teams with different categories for professionals and amateurs. Pictured, Grinde and Idalski, pose with their medals.
