Barbara was born in Milwaukee on Nov. 15, 1946, a daughter of Edward and Audrey Kingsbury. On July 10, 1965, Barbara was united in marriage to the love of her life Dan Kemp. After living in many locations for Dan's military career, they retired to Rhinelander to continue to raise their family. Barbara will be lovingly remembered as a doting mother, grandma and great-grandma.
She will be missed dearly by family all of Rhinelander, including her husband, Dan Kemp, daughters Sherri (J) Harder and Kristine (Bill) Cover; grandchildren Amber Randall (Mike), Ashley Randall, Dave (Lauren) Sackett, Shawn Harder, Justin (Anna) Kemp, Kasi Cover (Justin), Pauline Harder and Sariah Cover; and her 17 great-grandchildren Aubrielle, Addilynn, Amari, Jr., Malachi, Imani, Kamiya, Sawyer, Hunter, Charlie, Scarlett, Kylee, Natalie, Bentley, Braelyn, Oliver, and Aniya.
She is further survived by her sisters Diane Lepak and Judy Mann; and many nephews, nieces and close family friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and her grandson Tony Sackett.
A celebration of Barbara's life will include a visitation on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Carlson Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service. Pastor Mark Klaisner will be officiating. You may leave your private condolences for the Kemp family at www.carlsonfh.com.
