Alex made the selfless decision to serve his country by joining the Army as an infantry man in 2-14 Delta company and has been doing so since January 2020.
Alex was a devoted friend, uncle, son, and brother. He had a charismatic personality that enjoyed being around his friends and family. He spent a lot of his time outdoors doing activities such as fishing, camping, and hiking. Alex lived his life to the fullest and made an impact on so many people's lives. He was a loyal friend, brother and son that was there for you no matter the circumstance. He was loved by everyone and was nominated homecoming king in high school. He was a natural athlete and played football and baseball. He was also an intelligent student and did excellent in school. Academics came naturally for him.
Alex had a love for superhero movies and had a deep connection with batman since he was a little boy. As a child he would carry around his brief case with his batman costume in it just in case there was ever any danger. At night, he would scare everyone that would walk in his room because he would stand his costume upright. He lived and breathed superhero movies and could quote most of them by heart. He was an overall movie fanatic. There was rarely a movie that he had not seen.
Alex would want everyone to remember the many good times he had in his life and cherish the happiness that he shared to everyone he met.
Visitation for Alex will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with services following at 1: p.m. on Friday, July 23, 2021, all at the Carlson Funeral Home.
