Sandi's positive outlook on life and unbound energy was evident to all those she touched. Her curiosity, zest for life and love of people created many lifelong friendships. She and her life partner were avid outdoor enthusiasts and adventure travelers. With a strong bond of love and spirit of adventure, they undertook a myriad of journeys throughout the U.S .and internationally.
In later years, a cancer diagnosis slowed her step, but she persevered with the same grit and positive determination that defined her life until, after several years, she was released. "In our hearts we found a synergy that would send our feet on adventures from beginning to end."
A celebration of life for Sandi will be scheduled in the spring of 2022 - her favorite time of year. A notice will follow accordingly. Deepest gratitude to Dr. Julian Molina and the entire Mayo Clinic Oncology team for their expert and compassionate care.
