The first was recorded by Mike Rooney, who used an 8 hybrid to ace the 99-yard, par-3 third hole. Then, during Thursday Night Fun League play, Derrick Fore used a driver to record a rare double eagle on the 350-yard par-4 eighth hole. Fore also eagled the par-5 first hole during his league round as he finished with a 2-under 34.
It was Fore's second hole-in-one of the season at Pinewood, having aced the third hole earlier this year. Fore's feat was witnessed by playing partner Sue Schroeder.
According to Pinewood, it was also Rooney's second ace of the season.
