Betty married the love of her life, Ross Breitzman, on July 8, 1950. They lived in Milwaukee, Minocqua and then moved to Rhinelander in 1969, where she has lived since. She worked as a beautician for a number of years and then as a buyer for Langdon's Jewelers for 17 years.
Betty enjoyed gardening, baking, cooking and reading and was a longtime member of the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Betty is survived by her daughter Jill (Buzzy) Mode, her son Scott Breitzman, her four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, with a fourth on the way, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Ross on Oct. 20, 2009, her parents, her sister Mary Jane, her brothers Arthur and Max and her daughter-in-law Louise.
Graveside services for Betty will be held at the Northland Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. You may leave your private condolences for Betty's family at www.carlsonfh.com.
