In Prep League play, Rhinelander Gray notched a major upset, beating second-place Tomahawk for the first time in three tries this year with a 7-5 victory at Stafford Field on Monday. Rhinelander Gray followed that up with a dramatic 15-14 walk-off victory over Eagle River at home on Tuesday, to get back to .500 at 6-6 on the season.
In the Senior League, Rhinelander defeated Lakeland Black 11-4 in Senior League play on Monday. Laser Pros got back to within a game of .500 with a 12-1 rout in Tomahawk on Tuesday.
All three teams had games rained out on Friday. Rhinelander Green makes up a game at Crandon tonight. Rhinelander Green and Laser Pros - which played to a 13-13 tie earlier this season - face off against each other again Sunday evening at Stafford Field while Rhinelander Gray will make-up its rainout at Lakeland Saturday and conclude its season with a game at Three Lakes Friday, July 23.
