Marie is survived by her sons, Joseph Gengalo of Crandon, Michael (Mary Jo) Gengalo of Jennings, Raymond (Lori) Palubicki of Jennings, Keith (Dana) Palubicki of Elcho, Danny (Annie) Palubicki of Jennings, daughter, Lynn Palubicki of Pelican Lake, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and many other family and friends.
Marie is preceded in death by her parents, brother, William; sisters, Joyce and Irene; husbands, Joseph Gengalo Sr., and Raymond Palubicki, Sr.; an infant child, William Palubicki; daughter-in-law, Sandra Gengalo, and grandson, Austin Palubicki.
Marie grew up in Rochdale, England during World War II. She married Joseph Gengalo Sr. on July 22, 1950, and had their son, Joseph Gengalo, Jr., in England. They immigrated to Chicago in 1953 where they had their son, Michael Gengalo. Joseph preceded her death May 4, 1962. She came to the Northwoods with a friend and met Raymond Palubicki, Sr. They married July 27, 1963 and lived in Jennings where they raised their children. She was known for having a close-knit family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching her grandchildren grow.
Visitation will be held on Friday July 9, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Weber-Hill Funeral Home, Crandon. Memorial services will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Don Dewing officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Home Cemetery in Jennings.
