Judy was born in Rhinelander on Aug. 20, 1940 to Leonard E. and Elsie L. (Dehart) Green. She was raised in Monico and was a 1958 graduate of Three Lakes High School. After high school she was employed at the Rhinelander Paper Mill working in the accounting department. In 1960, Judy moved to Milwaukee where she attended the Spencerian Business School.
For seven years, she was employed with the Wisconsin Real Estate Investment Fund, later known as the Wisconsin Real Estate Fund. On July 11, 1964, Judy was united in marriage to James Helmrich. In 1970, they moved from Milwaukee to West Bend, living there until 1975. During that time, Judy was employed with the B.C. Ziegler Company achieving the title of assistant vice-president. The family moved to Reno, Nev. in 1975, taking great pleasure in owning a hobby farm. In 1985, Judy moved to San Diego, Calif. where she was employed with Springs Management as an assistant controller. She also managed a senior residence in El Cajon, Calif. and later was employed as a controller for Cal Southwest for 11 years. Judy moved back to Rhinelander in 2001 where she was employed at Walmart and later at Trig's.
Surviving are her daughter, Jayme (James) Harris of Borrego Springs, Calif. and a brother-in-law Don Rolain of Rhinelander. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives, and very dear friends including her Three Lakes classmates.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother John (Jean) Green and a sister, Dorothy Rolain.
