She moved to Crandon as a young child. She was united in marriage to Virgil Howard on March 7, 1948 and had four daughters. She was a lifelong member of the Crandon Church of God and was employed at Bemis Manufacturing for 27 years.
She loved visiting with her grandchildren. She enjoyed making crafts especially photo albums for special events and helping her friends and neighbors.
She is survived by three daughters: Kathline Westimayer, Yvonne (Colin) Kincaid, Gloria (Darold) Spencer; son-in-law, Donald (Karen) Dekker; 9 grandchildren: Robin (Lori) Dekker, John (Nadine) Westimayer, Joe Westimayer, Colin Kincaid, Kevin Kincaid, Tammie (Arron) Preston, Connie Quade, Stephanie (Matt) Steingraber, Kyle (Rebekah) Spencer; 21 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil; parents, Walter and Fern; daughter, Wanda Dekker; son-in-law, William Westimayer and brother, Carl Brandenburg.
Service will be held on Feb. 20, 2021 at Living Faith Church of God, Crandon with Pastor John Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service at noon at the church.
The family would like to thank the staff of Country Terrace Assisted Living and Ministry Home Care Hospice, Rhinelander, for the loving care they provided to our mother.
