Members of the Sugar Camp Fire Department use a sling to carry the driver involved in a one-vehicle crash at the intersection of County A and Highway 17 to a waiting ambulance Wednesday morning, Feb. 10, 2021. According to an Oneida County sheriff's deputy on the scene, preliminary indications are the vehicle was traveling westbound on A when the driver failed to stop at the stop sign. The vehicle traveled across the road and went airborne at the snowbank. It traveled about 30 yards before coming to a stop. In addition to the sheriff's department and Sugar Camp Fire Department, an Oneida County Ambulance responded to the scene.
