Peoples State Bank supports YMCA of the Northwoods campaign with $15,000 gift
"From a focus on youth and teens, to supporting adults and seniors, this campaign engages all in our community," noted Craig Lau, Peoples State Bank Northern Market President. "Meeting with Dr. Judy and Ryan at the Y gave us a level of excitement on the potential of making a difference by getting involved. We couldn't be more excited to stand beside the YMCA in making this vision a reality."
"The Building For The Future Capital Campaign will strengthen resources for all in the community," according to a Peoples State Bank press release. "These include doubling capacity for early learning and out of school enrichment time for youth, expanding opportunity for teens to have a safe, secure and affordable place to go, grow impactful and meaningful programming for all ages, strengthen summer day camp to include more environmental and outdoor education, and allow 24/7 access to the YMCA wellness center and main gymnasium."
"The YMCA has been working very hard to expand what we already do for our community. With the help of those like Peoples State Bank we are getting closer to making what was a vision, a reality," Ryan Zietlow, YMCA of the Northwoods CEO shared. "The YMCA is here to strengthen our community. What better way to add more to what we do as the community's leading youth development organization. What better way than to show stronger support for our adults and seniors in the journey to a healthier lifestyle."
Peoples State Bank Assistant Vice President Mortgage Lending Brandon Karaba added, "Ryan, Dr. Judy, the Y Board and staff have all done such amazing work! This group's forward thinking about what Rhinelander needs and wants continues to make the YMCA a great place for all families and individuals. We're lucky to have the Y and everything it has to offer. There are a lot of exciting things happening in the Northwoods and the YMCA is one of them!"
"Picture more of our youth in a safe place after school, on the weekends, engaging with mentors that want to make a difference. Our toddlers getting nurturing and loving care while their parents work, creating a piece of mind. Our adults working on their own wellness at any time that works for them. And our seniors staying engaged and healthy through preventative impactful chronic disease offerings. The Y is so much more. The Y is a community organization, just like Peoples State Bank. Their community minded approach blends with our mission, engaging and supporting the community as a whole, especially those that needs us the most. Thank you Peoples!" added Zietlow.
The YMCA of the Northwoods has raised over $1.5 million toward its goal of $2.0 million.
