Loretta was born in Rhinelander on Aug. 8, 1931 to Edward and Ann (Novak) Stefonik. She was raised in Sugar Camp and was a 1949 graduate of Rhinelander High School. On June 10, 1950, Loretta was united in marriage to Alvin Johnson at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Loretta enjoyed watching the Packers, any type of fishing, camping and campfires, the outdoors, dogs and animals, pontoon boat rides and cooking and baking.
She will be dearly missed by her children: James and Paul Johnson both of Rhinelander, daughter-in-law Karen Johnson of Lake Forrest, Minn. and a grandson, Dustin Johnson of Minnesota. Also surviving are nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Alvin Johnson, her children, Judy, Tommy, Mary and David and by one grandson, Josh Johnson.
Visitation and services will take place at a later date.
