Tom was born in Dallas, Texas on June 11, 1964, to Charles G. and Carole (Handshy) Lambert. He was raised in Denver. Colo. Upon completion of high school, Tom was employed in the home construction business. He eventually owned and operated his own home framing business in Reno, Nev. for 10 years. He moved to Tulsa, Okla. in 1998 and was employed with a remodeling company. In 2001 Tom met his future wife, Elizabeth Rainey. They were united in marriage in 2003 in Tulsa, until the family moved to Rhinelander in January of 2019.
Tom enjoyed trapping, hunting, fishing, ATV riding and dirt bike riding, camping and collecting guitars.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Elizabeth Lambert, loving dad to Zoe Rainey, Julianne Rainey, both of Tulsa, Okla., Margaret Lambert and Gracie Lambert of Rhinelander; two granddaughters Marcy Rainey and Cordelia Crandall, and his mother, Carole Lambert of San Diego, Calif. Also surviving are two sisters AmySu (Doug) Zirbel of San Diego, Calif., Lynne Lambert of Tulsa, Okla., mother-in-law and father-in-law Elaine and Terry Rainey of Tulsa, Okla. Tom is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
The visitation for Tom will take place on Friday, Dec. 10, 2021 at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 125 E. King Street, Rhinelander from 10:30 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. Memorial Mass. Fr. Chris Kemp will officiate.
