After raising her children, Loulla worked for K-Mart in Rhinelander for over 20 years. She served as a Girl Scout and Boy Scout Leader for many years when her children were involved. She also taught hunters safety for the Wisconsin DNR for over 50 years. When she was home she enjoyed crocheting and working in her garden. Above all else she enjoyed having all the grandchildren around.
Loulla is survived by her children Annette (Steve) Hawley, Jeannette Kemp and Samuel Hawley, her grandchildren Christopher, Kelly, Terry, Annastacia and Samantha, her great-grandchildren Athena, Hayden and Lilith, her sisters Helen Larson, Henrietta Walker, Francis Steinhart and Geraldine Cantrell, her brothers Clarence (Sue) Cooper, Keith (Sharon) Cooper and Gerald Cooper, her sisters-in-law Betty, Joy and Dee Cooper, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. In addition to her husband she was also preceded in death by her son Owen Hawley Jr., her sister Marion Shay and her brothers Wally, Victor and Paul Cooper.
Visitation for Loulla will be held from 9 to 11 a.m., with funeral services following at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021, all at the Carlson Funeral Home. Pastor Julie Wilcox will be officiating. Interment will be in the Northland Memorial Park Cemetery.
