Judging by their expressions, Aiyanna Hernandez, 6, and Kane Flanagan, 5, found that the back car of the Tidal Wave roller coaster was the best place to be Thursday evening, July 29, 2021, the opening day of the 2021 Oneida County Fair. A virtual fair was held last year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to plenty of excitement for the return of the traditional fair amusements this summer.
