Emily attended schools in Detroit up to her graduation from Troy High School, when she graduated she started college at Bluffton College in Bluffton, Ind. After Bluffton College she attended nursing school in the Kenosha area and worked for numerous hospitals and hospice organizations. In 1992, Emily and her family moved to Rhinelander and that is when she started working for Ministry Hospice. Twenty seven of her 40 years in nursing were spent with hospice.
Emily was a very talented seamstress and loved to do it, she enjoyed embroidery, and crafting of any kind. She loved her pets and always had a little dog or cat in the house. The most important part of her life was her family and she loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and all of her other family members.
Emily is survived by her sons Daniel (Patricia Morgan) Stalsberg of Kenosha, Daryl Stalsberg of Rhinelander, grandchildren Jeffrey, Autumn, Haley, Chase, Asia, Bryce, and Mason, mother Peggy, sisters Carol (Dennis) Rothlesberger, Colleen (Robert) Brnabic, and Peggy (Paul) Kochajda, brothers Mark, Tom, and Andrew Price, other family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Devere, father Herbert, and brother Nathan.
A visitation will be held for Emily on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the Carlson Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. You may leave your private condolences for the Stalsberg family at www.carlsonfh.com. The Carlson Funeral Home (715-369-1414) is handling the arrangements for the family.
