Dennis R. Perlberg, 76, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 at the Aspirus Hospital in Wausau.

Dennis was born on March 3, 1945, in Milwaukee, to Isadore and Alyce Perlberg. He graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1963, and soon after married Patricia (Pat) Cook in 1966. He spent 32 years working at the Rhinelander Paper Mill which he retired from in 2004.

Dennis enjoyed golfing and fastpitch softball. One of his favorite winter activities was ice fishing, especially with his brother-in-law, Dick Cook. He also looked forward to the annual get-together in the summer with his brothers. The absolute most important thing in his life was his family. He adored and cherished every moment he got to spend with them. Every holiday was such a joy that left him with heart-warming memories. He would often look around the room, filled with his children and grandchildren, and say to Pat, "Look at what we did" with the biggest smile on his face.

He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, Easton, Hadley, Kennedi, and Jackson; as well as 3 brothers, Jack (Lollie), Oshkosh, James (Shirley), Rhinelander, and Jerome (Mary Lou), Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Isadore and Alyce Perlberg.
