Jean M. Spafford
Jean was born May 15, 1931, in Rhinelander, the daughter of Alfred and Florence (Gustafson) Petersen.
She was united in marriage on Aug. 27, 1949, in Rhinelander, to Gilbert "Gil" Spafford and he preceded her in death on Nov. 1, 2018.
Surviving are her daughters, Barbara (Gary) Payne, Gleason; Pam (Steve) Horneck, Rhinelander; Dawn Cote, Crandon; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Petersen, Elk Mound; brother, Donald (Wanda) Petersen, Harshaw.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Norma Evans; brothers, Kenneth, Leo, LeRoy, and James.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2, 2020 at Weber-Hill Funeral Home, Crandon with Pastor Alex Lindsey from Tomahawk officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to time of service.
Weber-Hill Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
