On Thursday, Sept. 3, 2020, AirPro unveiled a massive mural facing Sutliff Avenue which chronicles the historical significance of industry pioneers from Rhinelander's early years to the present day. AirPro president and founder Keith White began conceptualizing the project in December of last year and that vision quickly became a reality with the help of Madison-based artist Alicia Rheal and her team of muralists. White was joined at the unveiling event by his wife Cindy, who played an instrumental role in inviting the families of those early pioneers to the ceremony in an effort to pay tribute to the contributions their relatives have made to our community. Others in attendance included Lauren Sackett of the Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce, Bill Vancos of the Rhinelander Historical Society and Lori Miller, AirPro administrative assistant and project coordinator. A feature story detailing the mural and unveiling event will be published in a future edition of the River News. Photo by Jamie Taylor/River News.
