Marjorie Newman
Marjorie was a lifelong resident of the Northwoods. She was raised in Hiles and attended schools there. She married Donald Newman and he preceded her in death on April 27, 1988. She was also preceded in death by her sisters Violet, Ruth, Ila and Alice.
Earlier in life Marjorie had been employed by the Onsons Inn and The Hotel Fenton as a cook. She also took in and cared for numerous foster children throughout the years. In her spare time she loved to go to rummage sales and flea markets.
Marjorie is survived by her daughter Sally Nylund and her son Kenneth (Nancy) Newman, six grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, her sister Marie Mahner, her brother Monte (Dora) James, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
Graveside services for Marjorie will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020 at 1 p.m. at the Northland Garden Mausoleum. Entombment will be in the Northland Garden Mausoleum.
