Palmyra had many interests. She was a member of the Lakeland Art League and the Wisconsin Retired Educators Association.
She was very passionate about arts and crafts and attended a variety of workshops. She made wreaths, worked with stained glass, made themed table centerpieces for meetings she attended, and anything else her creative mind would think of. Basket-making turned out to be her biggest passion and she dove wholeheartedly into it for a number of years while traveling to attend periodic weekend workshops.
She loved to pass anything she learned on to others, especially children. She also had time to enjoy the outdoors in Northern Wisconsin. She looked forward each year to downhill skiing, ultimately switching to cross country.
Palmyra is survived by her sons Curtis Creed and Kent Creed, her grandchildren Nycole and Kayla, her great-grandchildren Draven, Riley, Ayva, Palmyra and Amelya.
She was preceded in death by her brother Billy, husband William, and her great-grandson, Richard.
