She was born on Oct. 7, 1939, in Racine, the daughter of Myron and Eunice (Johnson) Walley. She attended schools in Racine graduating from Racine Park High School in 1957. In 1960 she married Gerald Halcsik and they moved to the Rhinelander area in 1989. Gerald preceded her in death on March 24, 1996. On Oct. 28, 2000 Nancy married Ronald Prince in Rhinelander and they were blessed with 20 years of marriage.
Nancy enjoyed living in the Northwoods. She loved fishing and their spot near the river. She loved her grandchildren and she cherished every moment she got to spend with them.
Nancy is survived by her husband Ronald, her daughter Tracy (Shane) Lasky and her grandchildren Gerald, Joshua and Kyle, other family and friends. In addition to her husband she was also preceded in death by her daughter Annette, her sister Shirley Kiekhefer and her parents.
Nancy will be laid to rest in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Racine.
Due to the pandemic there will be no public services at this time.
