Dave was an electrician by trade, a chef by heart, an amazing husband, a loving son, an awesome dad, a brother you could count on, and the best uncle and godfather you could ask for.
Even though Dave's body was failing, he would never pass by the opportunity to help someone with any project, and always put everyone before himself.
He was an avid bowhunter, enjoyed fishing, and loved to be outdoors and go camping.
He and Ellen looked forward to spending time with their extended family in Buffalo County or at the swamp spending time with their family and friends. Dave's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him, but his physical presence will create a void that could never be filled.
Dave is survived by his best-friend and wife, Ellen; his daughters, Deanna and Jessica; mom and dad, Nancy and Len; his sister Anna; brother Jim; 15 nieces and nephews, four great-nieces and nephews; as well as many special friends.
In death, he was preceded by his maternal grandparents, Beulah and Martin; paternal grandparents, Grandma Mayo and Grandpa Harvey; mother-in-law, Beverly Heck and father-in-law, Kenneth Watson.
A celebration of Dave and the life he lived to the fullest will take place later this summer.
