Ruth is survived by her significant other Ron Bender, her sons Paul (Susan) Kariotis and John Prohaska (Lissa), her nine grandchildren and her great-grandchildren, her sister Dorothy Navrotsky, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank on Sept. 2, 1994, her son Peter and her brothers Arthur, Gerald and Donald Gabel.
Ruth is also survived by her dog Snoopy. She loved dogs and had many throughout her lifetime that were very special to her.
Private family services will be held at the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Cemetery where she will be laid to rest.
