"We also had some pump valves that we needed to switch, which have been in there forever," RHS activities director Brian Paulson said. "If they ever broke down, we would have had to shut the whole pool down. We put a new piece onto the main pipe that comes into the pool. They put a piece on the end there. They're doing a bunch of fixing."
With the school building closed due to the COVID-19 situation, the district was provided a unique opportunity to get the project done during a time when the pool was not in use anyway, Paulson noted.
