Richard was united in marriage on April 25 1953, in Milwaukee, to the late Cleideth Clemens sharing 63 years together.
They lived in Muskego until moving up to Harshaw in 1989.
Richard graduated from the eighth grade from Wisconsin School for the Deaf. His class's football team placed first in the state 1941, in which he played running fullback.
Richard was employed at Hein Printing Company in Milwaukee for 43 years.
Richard was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. In his early years was in the bowling leagues for the deaf.
He enjoyed family gatherings, Packers games, camping, fishing, and was a pretty good card shark.
Richard is survived by his daughters Fay (David) Steiner of Three Lakes, Sue (John) Palubicki of Harshaw, Beth (Charles) Willms of Mindoro and one son Lee (Brandi) Nowakowski of Wilsonville, Ore. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Kelly, Tony, Amanda, Matthew, Kyle, Tim, Joshua, Jacob and Haley.
Richard was preceeded in death by his parents, older brother, wife and special grandson Sammuel.
The visitation for Richard will held at the Hildebrand Funeral Home, Pastor Karl Schultz will be officiating. Date and time are postponed.
