The magical season for the Rhinelander High School girls' basketball team continued over the weekend as it won a pair of playoff games to claim a WIAA Division 2 regional championship at the Jim Miazga Community Gymnasium. The second-seeded Hodags defeated 10th-seeded Wausau East 66-55 on Friday and third-seeded New London 60-51 on Saturday to advance to sectionals for the first time in more than two decades.
