Gene worked for Moritz Tires and retired from US Stick. Gene enjoyed working on classic cars and showing them off in car shows. Gene loved telling stories and sharing them with anyone willing to listen. For Gene, the only thing closer to his heart than his love of antique cars was his family.
Gene married Judy Ann Meisler on Aug. 27, 1966 and together they raised their family of five children here in Rhinelander.
Gene is survived by his wife, Judy; his daughters, Philena (Michael) Thompson, Melissa (William) Meyers and Michelle (Daniel) Littleton; his sons, Dean (Congetta) Wilmot and Jess (Michelle) Wilmot; his grandchildren: Austin, Melinda, Kira, Raymond, Nathaniel, Dominic, Alexander, Riley, Jordy and Mayzie; his sister, Nancy (Roy) Lechner and his brother, Dave (Beverly) Wilmot. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents.
