Chester "Chet" A. Budreau II, age 87 of Superior, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020, at Essentia St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth.

Chet was born June 18, 1932, in Rhinelander, to Margaret and Chester Budreau, Sr. He attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He owned and operated Budreau's Major Appliance. He was a hard worker who loved his business and his customers.

He was a devout Catholic and member of Cathedral Church. He was very athletic and enjoyed skiing, ice skating and was a top tennis star. He was a woodsman and loved animals. He would take in all kinds of animals including birds.

Chet was a very kind and loving man with a gentle spirit. He had a very outgoing personality and loved people. He was an amazing father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Charles Budreau.

Chet is survived by his children, Jacinta (Bill) Bailey, Susan (Dan) Donis, Craig (Brenda) Budreau, Stacy Golding, Lorna (Jeff) Jung, Chet Budreau III, Shane Budreau, Shannon Budreau, Shawn Budreau, Brandon Budreau, Tara (Joshua) Grams, Jesse Budreau and Brett Budreau; a sister, Joan (Bruce) Frasier; and many many grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Cathedral of Christ the King Church, with Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci as celebrant. Burial was in Parkview Cemetery, Hawthorne.
