She was born in Chicago on April 25, 1956 to Ernest and Eleanor Bellman.
Susan grew up in Justice, Ill. and moved to Eagle River when she was 12. She graduated from Eagle River High School in 1974. Susan worked at the Eagle River State Bank, Shoeder Buick in Phelps.
She met her husband Keith there and they later operated Shoeder's Chrysler Center and Shoeder's RV and Marine in Rhinelander, and worked there until her retirement in 2019. Susan enjoyed buying and selling real estate, boating, fishing and traveling to Florida.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents: Ernest and Eleanor Bellman; niece: Kelsey Bellman; half-sister: Gloria Pride; half-brother: Merlyn Scholz. She is survived by her son: Sean Shoeder of Rhinelander; sister: Barbara (Jeff) Bacon of Denton, Texas; brother: Donald (Janice) Bellman of Eagle River; significant other: Michael Eyre; former husband: Keith Shoeder; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday July 28, 2020 at the Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home in Eagle River.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Interment will be in the Eagle River Cemetery following the service.
