Workers from Pitlik and Wick Asphalt Paving installed the last of the nets at the new pickleball courts at Pioneer Park in Rhinelander Friday afternoon, July 17, 2020. A ceremony was to be held Monday to formally open the 8-court complex for play. The $106,000 cost of the construction of the courts was raised by donations. The complex is believed to be the first of its kind in the area designed exclusively for pickleball instead of an adapted tennis court. Photo by Jamie Taylor/River News.
