David J. Newman
He was born July 24, 1952, in Rhinelander, the son of Robert and Irene Javenkowski Newman.
Moonshine Dave attended Rhinelander High School. On June 15, 1974, he was united in marriage to Marilyn Klaver in Green Lake County. Moonshine Dave was a semi driver for Lawent Iron & Metal, Flash Trucking and Kopplin & Kinas Co., Inc. He enjoyed the outdoors hunting deer and ducks, spending time at his cabin, scuba diving, reading westerns and loved his dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; two daughters, Amy (John) Hanninen and Becky (Kwong Liu) Newman; three grandchildren, Matthew, Skyler and Amadalyn; one brother, Richard (Joan) Newman; three brothers-in-law; four sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Judith.
